Framed by an avenue of cypress trees overlooking ancient olive groves and vineyards, Villa Santa Caterina welcomes guests to relax and unwind. The Estate accommodates up to ten guests between the Main Villa and Shai’s Cottage.

The Main Villa sleeps up to 6, and Shai's Cottage sleeps 2-4. Usually our guests rent the whole property for exclusive use, though occasionally it may be possible to rent just the Main Villa or Shai's Cottage - please contact us to discuss your wishes.
As you approach this 18th Century stone house, it may be hard to believe that it was literally in ruins, up until 1996, when the current owner purchased it.
Years of rebuilding, restoring and refurbishing with authentic, period-correct materials followed. The rebuilt house had to comply with modern building codes and historic building standards in every respect, including resistance to seismic activity.
Today, all the buildings on the property have been transformed to offer virtually every modern amenity, while maintaining their historic look and character.
Surrounded by forests and farmland, Villa Santa Caterina offers sweeping views in every direction. There’s complete privacy when desired, on this hilltop estate. Perfect for relaxing with friends or a family getaway. Nearby, there are medieval towns to explore and modern conveniences close at hand.

Main Villa
Santa Caterina’s Main Villa sleeps 6. There are two queen-bedded rooms with ensuite bathrooms on the Villa’s second floor - The Master Bedroom and the Blue Room. A cozy sitting room with a wood burning fireplace, a small library of books, a TV, and a large selection of movies, is conveniently located between the two bedrooms. The twin-bedded Yellow Bedroom and a bathroom, are located on the ground floor level.
The Villa’s main living area occupies the ground floor, offering a specious, fully equipped eat-in- kitchen, a dining room with comfortable seating for 10, a delightful patio for alfresco dining, and a large living room with an open fireplace. There are several additional patios throughout the property, each comfortably furnished and each offering a different panoramic view.
The Master Bedroom
With en suite bathroom with shower and bath, and breathtaking views in both directions, the master bedroom is pure rustic luxury.
The Blue Room
Queen size bed, en suite bathroom. Separated from the Master Bedroom by the upstairs Sitting Room / Library.
The Yellow Room
Ground floor bedroom with 2 single beds. Adjacent bathroom with shower.
Kitchen
Our fully fitted kitchen offers both indoor dining, and an outside table under the vines. You'll find everything you need here for memorable dining experiences.
Living Room
Our bright and spacious living rooms has glass doors and gorgeous views in every direction, and opens onto the spacious outdoor terrace. There is also a fireplace.
Upstairs Sitting Area & Library
Offering a small selection of books, smart TV and fireplace, the Library separates the Master Bedroom and the Blue Room on the first floor.
